Taste Expression: Citrus / White Florals / Citrus Blossom / Panela Sugar
From Cerro Azul – the farm with the highest growing altitude, located in Valle del Cauca. They specialize in growing Geisha in the high altitude with a cold, humid climate. Café Granja La Esperanza, Colombia, was operated by Rigoberto Herrera and his brother, Luis. Who have transformed the family’s agricultural heritage into a benchmark for exceptional coffee. One of the most well-known coffee estate on the world.
This washed Geisha lot was from a competition series; all of their excellent products come from hard work over the years.
The cup overall was super clean with a floral experience from the first sip to the very end of the aftertaste. Its vibrant complexity keeps lingering, offering a rich experience.
Each cherry is handpicked at the peak of ripeness. Only the finest beans move forward. Before their fermentation journey started in an open tank for 14 hours, natural sugar was carefully monitored, and the lighter floating beans were removed.
After that, they’re pulped and given a refreshing aerobic fermentation for another 24 hours, ensuring each bean reaches max depth and complexity.
